Science for Everyone

We here at LogiCON love learning and think science is the best tool we have to understand the world. More importantly, science is something that should be shared. So every spring the LogiCON team gets Edmonton’s best and brightest scientific minds in a room to share their research – and their love of the science they do – with you.

Meet Local Science Experts

From the physics of black holes to how vaccines prevent disease, we bring in as many scientists, researches, and science-writers we can find. In past years, topics included black holes, forensic anthropology, dinosaurs, surprising geometry, endangered species monitoring, energy and the Alberta oil sands, the future of foods, the science of superpowers, and many more, including family-friendly science talks for kids aged 10-15.

We Need You

LogiCON needs more than just attendees. We need businesses to show their support for science by helping us expand Alberta's interest in science. If you are interested in helping us by providing conference rates on accomodation for out-of-town attendees, providing science-themed door prizes, or any financial assistance to help cover our costs, please contact us.
